PTT Setup

The T3-Micro has no jumpers. Handheld PTT mode — required for most handhelds except Kenwood and most Chinese imports — is set using:

  • The command: HTPTT ON
  • Or by checking HT PTT in otwincfg.exe under the Radio Interface panel

You must write the new configuration before the change will take effect. Requires firmware build 56471 or later.

On-Board GPS

  • Enable NMEA pass-through with NMEAPASS ON or the NMEA P/T checkbox in otwincfg
  • Works in both console and KISS mode
  • GPS runs at 9600 baud, connected to port A
  • Set port A to 9600 baud and AUTO mode

APRSISCE/32 Setup
