Argent Device Tools is developed and published by Argent Data Systems ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

All app functionality operates locally on the user's device.

2. Microphone Access

The app requests access to the device microphone solely to allow users to record voice announcements that are transferred directly to compatible Argent Data Systems hardware devices.

  • Audio recordings are created only when initiated by the user.
  • Audio is used exclusively for device programming and testing purposes.
  • Audio data is not transmitted to Argent Data Systems or any third parties.
  • Audio recordings are not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

3. NFC Access

The app uses NFC (Near Field Communication) to communicate with compatible hardware devices for configuration and firmware management.

  • NFC communication occurs directly between the mobile device and the hardware.
  • No configuration data is transmitted to external servers.

4. Local Data Storage

Any configuration data or temporary operational data remains stored locally on the user's device and is used only to provide app functionality.

We do not access or retrieve this data remotely.

5. Data Sharing

Argent Device Tools does not share any data with third parties.

The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking technologies.

6. Children's Privacy

Argent Device Tools is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
