I have a Kenwood TM-D710 and had been wanting to do APRS for some time. After some exhaustive searching, I came across this site and the GTrans cable. I ordered the cable then found a referburshed Nuvi350 and bought it. They both arrived at the same time. After getting the radio set up and updating the software in the 350, I routed the cable out of site in my Chevy Traiblazer and hooked it up. After alittle tweeking, it works like a champ. I commonly refer to the Nuvi350 setup as "the poor mans AvMap". If you are thinking about APRS and can get ahold of a Nuvi350, go for it. You won't be disappointed! 73....
