Speaker/mic cable for most Kenwood handhelds. Right-angle, with 2.5mm and 3.5mm connectors. Cable length is 60 cm / 24 inches, with pre-stripped and tinned leads.

NOTE: Apparently bored with wiring all of the cables exactly the same way, the factory seems to have started switching the blue and black leads on some cables in older batches. If you have an older cable please verify connections with an ohm meter before soldering!

All of our speaker mic cables should be wired as followed:

Red    - Speaker
White - Mic
Yellow   - PTT (if used)
Black  - Ground

You should check that the connections match your particular radio. Connections used only for cloning or programming are usually NOT present in these cables.
