The EchoBridge is an easy-to-use, simple, efficient, and secure RF gateway appliance designed both for EchoLink® and standalone applications. It takes the place of a PC and sound card interface and uses less than one watt of power. Simply plug it in and set up your EchoLink login information and your node can be online in under two minutes.

The device is configured and managed through its web browser interface, or alternatively through a command shell accessible via USB or telnet.

While the EchoBridge is built primarily with EchoLink in mind, it can also function independently of the EchoLink network, connecting to remote nodes by IP address and even operating on isolated IP networks.

The EchoBridge's radio interface uses the same RJ45 connector as our ADS-SR1 simplex repeater controller and can be used with all of the same cables. Pre-built cables are available for most popular mobile and handheld radios.

Up to 10 remote stations at a time can be connected to the EchoBridge, which also functions as a conference server. Audio can be monitored through the browser interface. Radio users can make calls via DTMF command, and a synthesized voice readout provides status information, including reading callsigns for connecting and disconnecting stations.
